Yesterday, Truck 3 stood with the Hauppauge Fire Department, joined by many other departments, to form a flag arch along the Long Island Expressway.

It wasn’t for a parade or a celebration. It was to honor WWII veteran Corporal Cliff Doering and a 35-year member of the Hicksville Fire Department.

As he was escorted to his final place of rest at Calverton National Cemetery, the flags overhead said what words never could. @hauppauge_fire_dept

Last night we had the honor of joining the Bohemia Fire Department escort Santa Claus back to their firehouse. Always a great time supporting our neighbors and spreading holiday cheer.

Today, Lakeland Fire Department's Ladder 3 had the profound honor of assisting in a flag arch tribute for FDNY Lieutenant Patrick Brady at the entrance to his final resting place. We stood in solemn respect for his service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy.
